10th Annual INTERPA Conference with the Title of “Effects of COVID-19 Pandemic on Policing and Police Education" and 20th Executive Board Meeting & General Council Meeting
20th Executive Board Meeting, General Council Meeting and 10th Annual INTERPA Conference were held on the dates of 11th-14th November of 2021, organized by Turkish National Police Academy (TNPA), with the participation of 153 representatives of 40 countries.
10th Annual INTERPA Conference started with the opening remarks by Prof. Yılmaz ÇOLAK, the President of INTERPA and Governor Mehmet AKTAŞ, the Director General of Turkish National Police. Afterwards, the Annual Meeting (comprising 20th Executive Board Meeting & General Council Meeting) (12th November 2021) was carried out, in which Member Countries have handled the issues on the agenda items which are relevant to future activities of INTERPA. Observer Countries also attended the Meeting as listener.
10th Annual INTERPA Conference with main theme of “Effects of Covid-19 Pandemic on Policing and Police Education” was carried out with the participation of 153 representatives from 40 countries. The Conference is composed of 3 sessions which are mentioned below.
- Effects of COVID-19 in Public Security: New Challenges and Opportunities
- Law Enforcement Training during COVID-19 Pandemic
- Security in Information Management Post-Covid 19
Within 3 sessions, 12 presentations were made in total by Representatives from Australia, Bangladesh, Belarus, India, Italy, Turkey, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Vietnam.
